What’s your Number?

As we enter a new year, reflecting on the energy that will be present is interesting. The Universe works in cycles, represented in Numerology by numbers 1 to 9. Each number has specific attributes or themes, offering insights into challenges, opportunities, or general trends one might experience during a year.

There are two numerology numbers: the Universal Year Number (UY) and the Personal Year Number (PY). The Universal Year Number can be compared to the global weather forecast for a country. At the same time, the Personal Year Number represents the local weather forecast at your place.

How do we calculate these numbers?

To calculate your Personal Year Number, add your birth day and month to the current year, then reduce the sum to a single digit.

For example, if your birthday is on March 5th and the current year is 2024, add (3+5)+(2+0+2+4)=16, then1+6=7. Your personal year number for this example is 7.

The Universal Year Number is calculated by adding all numbers and again reducing them to a single digit. For 2024, this is 2+0+2+4=8

What do these numbers mean?

The Personal Year Number can be understood through the farming cycle metaphor. Like a farmer sows, nurtures, and reaps crops, we have cycles in life. Each year, we sow our intentions, nurture them, and reap what we have sown. The Personal Year Number helps identify which stage of the cycle we are in and how to use it to our advantage.

Personal Year 1: Planting New Seeds

This year is all about new beginnings. It's time to plant new ideas and goals like seeds in the ground, hoping they will grow. The PY1 energy is ideal for starting new ventures, projects, jobs or relationships.

Personal Year 2: Tending the Seedlings

This is the time for patience and nurturing, like caring for young plants. It's about building relationships and working with others, just as plants need water and sunlight to grow.

Personal Year 3: The Plants Bloom

Your ideas start to show results like plants blossoming. It's a year for creativity, communication, and enjoying the beauty of what you've nurtured, just like a farmer admires the flowers before the fruits come.

Personal Year 4: Strengthening the Roots

It's a year of hard work and building solid foundations, like a farmer ensuring the plants are strong and healthy. It's about discipline, order, and managing the details of your projects.

Personal Year 5: Change and Growth

Things start changing rapidly, like a garden in total growth. It's a year for new experiences, flexibility, and travel as you adapt to the changes in your life.

Personal Year 6: Nurturing and Responsibility

This year is all about responsibility and caring, like a farmer protecting the crops from pests and bad weather. It's a time for family, home life, and sometimes resolving issues with loved ones.

Personal Year 7: Reflection and Understanding

A quieter year for introspection, like a farmer planning for the next season. It's about learning, understanding yourself better, and preparing mentally for the next steps.

Personal Year 8: Harvest and Achievement

It's a year of harvesting the rewards, like a farmer reaping the crops. It's about achievement, recognition, and often financial gain. This is the year when your hard work pays off. (Note: The Universal Year Number for 2024 = 8!)

Personal Year 9: Clearing the Field

Like a farmer clearing the field at the end of the season, this is a time of completion and letting go. It's about finishing up old projects and preparing for a new cycle, to begin with the next Personal Year 1.

What does it mean when the Universal Year Number (UY) and Personal Year Number (PY) are the same?

The Universal Year Number for 2024 = 8 (2+0+2+4). So, what if your Personal Year Number is also 8? When the Universal Year Number (UY) and Personal Year Number (PY) are the same, it is believed to be a powerful time for personal growth and transformation. It is a year of alignment and harmony, where your inner and outer worlds are in sync. This can be a great opportunity as the energy of the UY and PY work together to support your goals and dreams. However, it can also be a challenging year, as the energy can be intense and require you to confront any areas of your life that are out of balance. It is essential to stay grounded and focused and use the energy to your advantage.

Use this information wisely.

While this information is helpful, it's important to remember that everyone's experience is unique. Don't limit yourself by any system, wisdom, or person. Use this information to your advantage, and trust your instincts. For instance, when you're in a PY9, the end of the cycle is about endings and closings, so it's usually not a good idea to start something new. This is true for new projects, businesses, relationships, etc. You can start preparing, but you should suspend the official launch until the end of the year or the beginning of the following year with a PY1 energy. The energy that is needed to support the start is not available.

Consider the analogy of a sailor who wishes to sail even when there is no wind. Although the sailor can do so, the boat will not move much. It is more prudent to utilize the energy to clean the ship and prepare for the next season rather than attempting to sail in unfavourable conditions.

Embrace Change

As we go through life's journey, it is important to remember that every ending is just the start of a new beginning. Whether it is the end of a job, a relationship, or a chapter in our lives, we can always look forward to the possibilities that lie ahead. It is vital to embrace change and approach every new beginning with a sense of excitement and wonder. Who knows what amazing things are waiting for you just around the corner?
